| At our engagement party! |
Yesterday my parents threw us an engagement party downtown at Sambuca. Thank you so much for everyone who came to celebrate our engagement. It is so wonderful to be surrounded much such amazing friends and family.

We played a fun game called the “Almost Newlywed Game” where we both answered questions at the same time to see how much we knew about each other and how much we remembered about our past.
We did better than I thought we would even though we have been friends for almost 9 years. Even when Thomas’ wasn’t sure of the answer such as, “What was the first song you danced to?” (which was probably at his senior prom), he still had a pretty good answer, “I was just happy she was dancing with me I don’t remember the song.”

It was a fun afternoon and we really enjoyed celebrating with our Houston friends and family and a few from out of town.
